We're committed to becoming more sustainable as a business. As part of this, we're signed up to the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi), a global movement to help companies halve emissions before 2030, and achieve net-zero emissions before 2050.
REDUCING EMISSIONS
By the end of 2022, we aim to achieve a 7.5% reduction in scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions against 2019 data. We'll do this through on-site energy use reduction and on-site energy generation, by purchasing green power, and by investing in off-site renewable energy generation.
RETHINKING RESOURCES
We're aiming for a group-wide reduction in water consumption of 15% against 2021 by the end of 2022, through less water use on-site, water reclamation, and off-site water treatment. Our procurement teams focus on F&B sourcing from within the region, supporting local food production. Single-use plastics are being phased out across our business.
